Out of the Blue

What an ‘age’ to be making a second album! It’s an album with songs about relationships, reflection and alienation.  I acknowledge the influence of John Keats and William Blake in the song La Belle Dame sans Merci and apologise for any French errors of pronunciation and grammar. ‘La femme qui piétine tous ses rêveries.’  I would have preferred rêves to rêveries but the need to rhyme took precedent.  My deepest gratitude goes out to Cathy, George, Sarah and Jay for their invaluable contributions. Thanks also to Dan, Les Parsons and Les Jones for their generous help. Grace and favour to Judy W. and Toni R. for inspiring ‘Little Sister’ and ’Out of the Blue’ respectively. Union Street is a song tainted by an infamous street in Plymouth. Dignitas?   Well compassionate killing and ultimate self sacrifice should be our legal right. There is no dignity or redemption in unnecessary suffering. Suffice to say that with limited resources but indomitable determination  I have done the best I can. Let down that drawbridge and raise those gates.  Something might just come out of the blue.
