Breathe

All songs, except one, were written before Covid 19 but delays before and during the pandemic have held up their release. I am so grateful, though, to have completed the album through difficult and anxious times. I count myself fortunate.

There were 10 tracks. However, on May7/8th ,2021, I wrote ‘Where the Blossom Grows’ and because of the felicitous nature of  the song, it just had to be included.

The song Paris was written in solidarity with the people of that city in the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan terrorist attacks. Brexit added an extra meaning to the song.

In dedication to my mother who, at nearly 94, passed away 14/11/2019 and to my Dominican Republic ‘family’ who have endured so much tragedy this last year 2020-2021.
