Breathe by Michael Blake
And Breathe ........ giving birth to this album was a battle with Studios shut for nearly two years and interruptions because of health issues. I went to the other side on many of the tracks and as the last track says "I walked on hallowed ground"
Breathe is a little more rock/indie/progressive and in parts overtly political than previous albums but with some quieter places.
The eternal quest in my songs is to find hope amid darkness and despair.
In dedication to my mother who, at nearly 94, passed away 14/11/2019 and to my Dominican Republic 'family' who have endured so much tragedy this last year 2020-2021.
